Another milestone in our toolmaking. Our largest mould for plastic injection moulding – a mould called “Main Panel”. The weight of the mould is 870 kg and its dimensions are 546 x 458 x 446 mm.
We have used a wide range of technologies in the production of the “MAIN PANEL” mould:
CAD/CAM: These technologies have enabled us to create auxiliary CAD models for production and program production processes to be efficient.
CNC milling machine: The CNC milling machine was a key tool for machining mold parts.
EDM depth: EDM was used to produce mould parts that could not be produced by milling alone.
Plane grinder: the plane grinder was used for rounding off blanks, grinding cores round (in preparation) and finishing work during mould recovery.
Horizontal boring machine: This technology has been used to drill deep holes and channels for mold tempering.
Fiber laser: a fiber laser was used to describe the mold.
Ultrasonic polisher: Finally, an ultrasonic polisher was used to polish the viewing surfaces.
This result is a testament to our ability to produce technically demanding and dimensional moulds with high precision and quality, using modern technology as well as the knowledge and experience of our team.
